2 member of Ansarullah Bangla team get 14 yrs jail
FARIDPUR, April 17, 2019 (BSS)-A Faridpur court today sentenced two members of
banned outfit of Ansarullah Bangla Team (ABT) to 14 years rigorous imprisonment each.
Faridpur Special Judge Md. Motiar Rahman also fined them Tk 20 thousand each, in
default to suffer three more month in jail.
The convicts are Nahid Molla, 22, of Laxmipur Village under Bhanga upazila and Farid
Mridah,35 of South Alom Nagar of Sadarpur Upazila of the district.
Public Prosecutor (PP) of Special Judge Court Advocate Golam Rabbani said police
arrested the ABT members on August 26, 2016 with explosives, pistol, one shooter gun
and a magazine contained 4 bullets. Later a case under Explosive Act -1908 was filed
against them with Bhanga police station.
