DHAKA, March 16, 2018 (BSS) – President M Abdul Hamid will pay homage to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on the occasion of the 99th birthday of the great leader and the National Children’s Day.

The President will pay tribute to him (Bangabandhu) by placing wreaths at the mazar (mausoleum) of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu at Tungipara in the morning.

A smartly turned-out contingent drawn from Bangladesh Army, Navy and Air Force will give a guard of honour to the President on the occasion.

On his arrival on the mazar premises, President Abdul Hamid will be received by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and senior politicians there, said a spokesman of Bangabhaban this afternoon.
