RANGPUR, Apr 13, 2019 (BSS) – The eco-friendly Chikley Lake Water Park
with modern facilities for entertainment of common people was launched at a
function held on its entrance point in Ward No-19 here on Friday afternoon.
Mayor of Rangpur Mostafizar Rahman Mostafa as the chief guest inaugurated
the Water Park by cutting ribbon in the colourful function presided over by
successful mother (Ratnagorva Ma) Lustfulness Begum in the chair.

Taru addressed as special guests.
Earlier, Rangpur City Corporation (RpCC) conducted massive phase-wise
development works of the Chikley Lake to turn it into an eye-catching and
eco-friendly Water Park with modern facilities spending Taka 1.50 crore for
entertainment.
The RpCC launched rider and speed boat services, restaurants, entertaining
facilities for children on the banks all-around of the Water Park before
opening it as an eco-friendly entertaining place for common people of all
ages.
