Three crore youths to get job under this govt: Nuruzzaman
DHAKA, April 07, 2019 (BSS) – Social Welfare Minister Nuruzzaman Ahmed today said at least three crore youths would get jobs during the tenure of this government as the country is rapidly proceeding towards industrialization side by side with the digitization.
“Bangladesh is now a very capable country in terms of information technology and all divisions have been brought under the purview of the IT capacity . . . At least 3 core youths will get jobs under this government,” he said while speaking at a discussion at Bangabandhu International Conference centre (BICC) here.
Palli Karma Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) organized the discussion on “Bangabandhu, Freedom Struggle and Bangladesh” with PKSF Chairman Dr Kazi Khaliquzzaman Ahmed in the chair.
Stressing on building skilled youth force for the overall development of the country, he said if it is possible to utilize the youths properly, no young people will remain unemployed, said a press release here today.
“Besides, Bangladesh will be turned into a developing country by next 2021 by using their (youths) potentials,” the minister added.
He urged the young generation to uphold the ideals and spirit of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, mentioning that Bangabandhu sacrificed his whole life for the welfare of the people and the country.
“Bangabandhu even didn’t give time to his family as he had to stay in jail most of his time,” he added.
He advised the new generation to imbue with honesty and ideals of Bangabandhu, the greatest Bengali of the thousand years.
Among others, PKSF Managing Director M Abdul Kaiyum and Deputy Managing Director Dr M Jasim Uddin were also present there.
