CHATTOGRAM, April 6, 2019 (BSS) – A fire broke in Chattogram city’s
largest superstore ‘Shopping Bag’ this morning.
Purnendu Mutshuddy, deputy assistant director of Agrabad Fire Service
said the fire originated from an electric short-circuit in the superstore at
around 6.20 am today.
Huge smoke engulfed the entire store. A total of nine fire fighting
units of fire service from different areas of the city went to douse the
flame. After one and a half hour of frantic efforts the flame was doused at
around 8 am.
However, no casualties were reported in the incident.
