Man held with 3,000 yaba tablets at Shah Amanat airport
CHATTOGRAM, April 4, 2019 (BSS) – Airport authority today held an outgoing passenger with 3,000 yaba tablets at Shah Amanat International Airport here, airport sources said.
The detained person was Md Sahed, 30, hailed from Sandwip upazila.
“In the evening, the yaba tablets were found from Saheb’s bag through scanner machine during the first checking of the international exit,” said Gazi Khairul Kabir, acting manager of the airport.
He had a flight for Muscat in Oman with an airplane of Regent Airways, he added.
Law enforcement agencies are taking lawful actions against the detainee.
