DHAKA, March 10, 2018 (BSS) – With a pious aim of helping develop creative faculty of the juveniles, the Agrani Bank-Shishu Academy Shishu Sahitya Puraskar were handed over to its winners at a simple function here today.
Finance Minister AMA Muhith handed over the awards to winners under seven categories in the auditorium of Bangladesh Shishu Academy, an official release said.
State Minister for Women and Children Affairs Meher Afroz Chumki addressed the function as the special guest with Chairman of Bangladesh Shishu Academy and eminent writer Selina Hossain in the chair.
Secretary of the Women and Children Affairs Ministry Nasima Begum, Chairman of the Agrani Bank Dr Zayed Bhakt and officials of different organizations concerned, among others, were present at the function.
Introduced in 1981, the Agrani Bank-Shishu Academy Shishu Sahitya Puraskar is aimed at promoting creative talent of the children.
