DHAKA, April 03, 2019 (BSS) – Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq today said officials would be sent to neighboring India soon for training on legal drafting.

“We have somewhat reached a decision that we would send some of our officials to India for getting training on legal drafting. There is a very good training institute on legal drafting in India. We would send our officials there very soon,” he said.

The minister said these while talking to newsmen after coming out of his meeting with Indian High Commissioner Riva Ganguly Das at the secretariat this morning.

Anisul Huq said they discussed how to open more doors of cooperation between the two brotherly nations and it was a very fruitful meeting.

“We had signed an agreement in 2017 to send out judicial officers to National Judicial Academy in Bhopal, India. Under the agreement, our judicial officers are getting training there. We have discussed about the possibility to expand the area of such trainings,” Anisul added.
