DHAKA, April 2, 2019 (BSS) – Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni today urged all to remain alert about ultra militant forces and their network.
“We have to remain alert about ultra militant forces and their network so that they could be eliminated for good,” she said while addressing a reception as the chief guest at Sagor-Runi auditorium of Dhaka Reporters’ Unity (DRU) here.
The DRU organised the reception and stipend programme for its members’ children who achieved good results in PEC and JSC examinations- 2018. DRU president Elias Hossian chaired the function.
The minister said the country led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is progressing fast towards development, adding, “Today’s children will the future leaders of the country. If they (children) learn better then they will be better leaders.”
General Secretary of DRU Kabir Ahmed Khan delivered the welcome address and applauded recent measures taken by the education ministry for ensuring better and quality education in the country.
Later, Dr Dipu Moni distributed certificates, crests and stipends among the recipients’.
