RAJSHAHI, March 9, 2018 (BSS)- Senior bankers have asked their newly recruited cashiers to follow the basic concepts in banking activities strictly to gain success in the profession.
They added the junior bankers should know about the banking basic concept and be familiarised with it properly for the sake of building cordial relation between bank and its clients as it is inevitable for attaining success in the banking sector.
There is no alternative to build capacity for creating client-friendly atmosphere alongside attaining success in their banking profession.
They were addressing the closing session of a weeklong orientation course titled “Basic Concept in Banking Activities” for 22 newly appointed cashiers of Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank (RAKUB) at its training institute here today.
Main objective of the course was to improve skills and attitude alongside enhancing professional competence of the cash operators through disseminating ideas about operation, administration and other banking related matters.
RAKUB Managing Director Kazi Alamgir addressed the session as the chief guest with principal of the institute Ataur Rahman in the chair. Senior Faculty Member Subrata Kumar Sarker and Faculty Member SM Ahsanullah also spoke.
RAKUB, the specialised bank, has been putting in its level best effort to establish a dynamic leadership along with accountability and transparency in all its activities to earn confidence of the clients.
The speakers highlighted the importance of the bank in agricultural development of the northwest Bangladesh and asked the junior bankers to apply the knowledge acquired from the training in the professional field properly for boosting agricultural production in the region.
Kazi Alamgir said the role of cashiers is very important in the field of branch level financial management and asked them to discharge their duties with utmost sincerity and honesty.
