No contractual appointments over age of 65 at FIs: BB
DHAKA, March 28, 2019 (BSS) – Individuals over the age of 65 are not eligible for appointed to any banks and Financial Institutions (FIs) on a contractual basis, according to a Bangladesh Bank (BB) circular issued here today.
However, the bar does not apply to the appointment of advisors or consultants, the circular added.
The circular also said all banks and FIs will fix the retirement age for their officials as per the rules and regulations of the state-owned commercial banks and FIs.
