Construction worker killed in Rangamati road accident
RANGAMATI, March 28, 2019 (BSS) – A construction worker was killed and
five others were injured when a jeep carrying them overturned in Sajek area
under Baghaichhari Upazila of the district here today.
The deceased was identified as Zia Maji, 45, hailed from Netrakona
district.
Police said the accident took place at around 2 pm in Sajek Road. The jeep
carrying 35 workers overturned as its driver lost control over the steering,
leaving Zia Maji dead on the spot. The injured were taken to Kagrachhari
Sadar Hospital.
