Fire breaks out at FR Tower in city’s Banani area
DHAKA, March 28, 2019 (BSS) – A fire broke out at a multistoried building
on Kemal Ataturk Avenue in the city’s Banani area today.
The fire broke out around 12:55 pm at the fifth floor of the FR Tower,
Fire Service Control Room Duty Officer (acting) Enayet Hossain told BSS.
Ten firefighting units rushed there and have been trying to douse the
blaze.
The cause behind the fire is yet to be ascertained and no causality has
been reported so far, he added.
