DHAKA, March 25, 2019 (BSS)- The Bangladesh U-23 football team aim to restore some lost pride as they face Sri Lanka in their third and final Group B match of the AFC U-23 qualifiers scheduled to be held tomorrow at the Khalifa Sports City Stadium in Isa Town, Bahrain.

The match kicks off at 7 pm (BST).

Both Bangladesh and Sri Lanka already eliminated from group stage after losing their respective group phase matches.

Bangladesh lost to Bahrain and Palestine by solitary goal defeat in their group matches while Sri Lankan were trashed by 0-9 goals by Palestine in the first match and again the same identical margin defeat to host Bahrain in the group second match.

All the Bangladeshi supporters in the gallery, mainly Bangladeshi expatriates to Bahrain, cheered the Red and Greens during the match against Palestine and will be hoping that the U-23 boys can come back home with at least a win under their sleeve.

Palestine already confirmed their spot of final of the tournament.
