DHAKA, March 21, 2019(BSS)- The Bangladesh U-23 football team will start their AFC U-23 Championship 2020 qualifiers campaign when they face host Bahrain in their group B opening match scheduled to be held tomorrow (Friday) at Khalifa Sports City Stadium in Bahrain capital of Manama.
The match kicks off at 4 pm (BST). Earlier, the Bangladesh U-23 team touched down in Bahrain early today (Thursday) to compete in the Championship, according to a message received here from Bangladesh Football Federation today.
The team reached Bahrain capital of Manama at 1 am Bangladesh time. The team has been accommodated at the Elite Resorts and Spa hotel in Manama where they will stay during the whole competition. The team had a one-hour training session at the match venue Khalifa Sports City Stadium this morning.
Bangladesh will play their remaining group matches against Palestine and Sri Lanka on March 24 and 26 respectively at the same venue.
