KUSHTIA, March 21, 2019 (BBS) – Awami League joint general secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif today said BNP always blames the government to hide its own failure and misdeeds.
“Begum Khaleda Zia is a convicted corrupt person and that’s why she is now in jail,” he told reporters after exchanging views with the local AL leaders and activities at his residence here.
Replying to a question, the AL leader said BNP should remove its convicted leader (Khaleda) without blaming the government to hide its failure and misdeeds.
As Khaleda Zia has been convicted and jailed by the court, she has no scope to get release without facing the legal procedures, Hanif said.
Kushtia Zila Parishad chairman Haji Rabiul Islam and Kushtia Zila AL general secretary Asgar Ali were, among others, present on the occasion.
