Exhibition of “Chitropote Bangabandhu and Bangladesh” begins

DHAKA, March 3, 2018 (BSS) – A ten-day exhibition titled “Chitropote
Bangabandhu and Bangladesh” began last night in the auditorium of Poet Sufiya
Kamal at the National Museum.

As many as 70 paintings of artist Nazir Hossain are being displayed at
the exhibition that will continue till March 11.

Eminent artist Hashem Khan inaugurated the exhibition.

Poet and film producer Dildar Hossain attended the function as the
special guest with member of board of trustee of the national museum, poet
Rabiul Husain in the chair.

Hashem Khan said the life of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh
Mujubur Rahman was depicted in the paintings of Nazir Hossain.

He described these paintings as extra-ordinary creative works, which are
deeply linked to history and culture of Bangladesh.
