DHAKA, March 19, 2019 (BSS) – The newly elected Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) and hall union leaders will take charge at 11 am on March 23.
“Reception of DUCSU and hall union executive committees will also be held on Saturday,” said a DU press release.
The decision was taken at a provost committee meeting held at DU Vice-Chancellor’s residence yesterday with DU VC Prof Akhtaruzzaman in the chair. DU Pro-VC (Administration) Professor Dr Muhammad Samad and provosts of the halls were present.
A total of 25 leaders of DUCSU and 234 hall union representatives were elected after a gap of 28 years. The last poll was held in 1990.
