NOAKHALI, March 2, 2018 (BSS) – Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque today called for projecting the real history of War of Liberation before the young generation to develop a sense of patriotism for their motherland.
“We have to highlight glorious chapters of our Liberation War before the new generation to let them know about supreme sacrifices of the people of the country,” he told a function at Choumuhani Mohon High School in Begumganj upazila here, an official release said.
Mozammel said the real history of the War of Liberation should be incorporated into the textbook to groom the students as worthy citizens in the country.
In the past the new generation was not allowed to know the real history of the War of Liberation as a vested quarter distorted its real history to serve its ulterior motive, he added.
