DHAKA, March 1, 2018, (BSS) – On the first day of the month of independence, a book titled “7 Marcher Bhashon Keno Bishw-Oitijya Sompod: Bangabandhu Muktijuddho Bangladesh” was launched today at Dhaka University (DU).
National University Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof Harun-or-Rashid has authored the book.
Emeritus Professor Anisuzzaman presided over the function held at Muzaffar Ahmed Chowdhury Auditorium on the campus, said a press release.
Commerce and Industries Minister Tofael Ahmed was present as chief guest while Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid was the keynote speaker.
University Grant Commissioner (UGC) Chairman Professor Abdul Mannan, DU VC Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman, Jagannath University VC Mijanur Rahman delivered their speeches on the newly published book, among others, at the programme.
The book was published by Bangla Academy.
