DHAKA, Mar 1, 2018 (BSS) – Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu today said people are now getting electricity around the clock across the country as quick rental power plants have reduced load-shedding to almost zero.

“Though there were many criticisms against the quick rental system, this initiative of the government has made an illuminated Bangladesh by ensuring power security for all,” he said.

The minister was speaking as the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony of the “9th International Bangladesh Infrastructure Innovation and Development Expo and Dialogue-2018” at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) in the city, said a press release.

The minister said the government follows ‘zero pollution’ and ‘zero accident’ policies for industrialization as it believes in environment friendly green industrialization.
