Job fair starts at RU
RAJSHAHI, March 13, 2019 (BSS) – A two-day job fair arranged by Rajshahi
University Career Club (RUCC) started today for the sixth time at Rajshahi
University (RU) campus.
RU Pro-VC Professor Dr Ananda Kumar Saha inaugurated the programme as the
chief guest on Sheikh Russel Model School playground while student advisors
Prof Dr Laila Arjuman Banu, Prof Dr Ruksana Begum, Prof Dr Shah Azam Santonu
and Dr Mominul Hoque were present as special guests.
Presided over by RUCC president Sheikh Arifuzzaman Lipu, the programme was
conducted by its general secretary Kamrul Hasan Jony.
Around 20 participating companies have arranged on-spot interviews and
will collect resumes from the job seekers. The candidates and visitors of the
fair can attend the mock interview and speech sessions of the industry and
business experts at the fair ground.
To mark the fair, a seminar will be held on Thursday at Teacher Student
Center (TSC) where human resources experts from different organisations will
participate as resource persons.
