NETRAKONA-BANGABANDHU’S BIRTH DAY
Netrakona prepares to observe Bangabandu’s birth day
NETRAKONA Mar 13, 2019 (BSS)- Netrakona district administration and different socio-cultural organizations, political parties, professional groups and educational institutions have chalked out elaborate programs to celebrate the 99th birth anniversary of father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Children Day-2019 in a befitting manner.
The day’s programs will begin with placing of floral wreaths at the portraits of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at the “Mukto Moncha” of Shilpakala Academy premises in the morning.
As part of the programs, a children rally will be brought out while an art and easy writing competitions on historic 7th March speech of Bangbandhu” for school children will be arranged Netrakona Shisu academy premises.
Netrakona Red Crescent society will arrange an art competition on “Bangabandhu” for school children at it’s office premises.
A discussion meeting on ” Life and ideology of Bangbandhu” will be held at local public hall under the auspices of Netrakona district administration. The meeting will be followed by a musical soiree on patriotic songs.
Improved diet will be served among the inmates of the Netrakona orphanage on the occasion.
Documentary films shows on the political life of Bangabandhu and War of Liberation will be screened at Netrakona central Shaheed Minar premises and other vintage points in the evening.
Special prayers will be offered for peace and salvation of the departed souls of Bangabandhu and progress of the nation in mosques, temples and other places of worships.
