DHAKA, Feb 26, 2018 (BSS) – Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) in a weather forecast today predicted rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind over the country in the next 24 hours as of 9 am tomorrow.
“Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions in the next 24 hours commencing from 9 am today,” the forecast said.
Night temperature may fall by 1-2 degree celsius and day temperature may fall slightly over the country during the period.
The maximum temperature was recorded 35.5 degrees celsius yesterday at Patuakhali in Barisal division and today’s minimum temperature 16.0 degrees celsius at Rangamati in Chittagong division.
The sunsets at 5:59 pm today and rises at 6:23 am tomorrow in the capital city.
