School boy commits suicide in Ctg
CHATTOGRAM, Feb 26, 2019 (BSS) – A school boy allegedly committed suicide
by hanging himself in city’s Shyamoli residential area under Panchlaish thana
on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Abrar Mahmud, 13, son of Dubai expatriate
Nurnobi, hailing from Shyamoli residential area of the port city and a class
seven student of Bakulia government high school.
Quoting the victim’s relatives, Assistant Sub Inspector Alauddin
Talukdar, of Chattogram Medical College police outposts said Abrar, might
have committed suicide by hanging himself over unknown reasons.
He was rushed to the Chattogram Medical College and Hospital (CMCH),
where attending doctors declared him dead, CMCH police outpost sources said.
The body was sent to the morgue for postmortem, the sources added.
