Aviation and Aerospace University Bill, 2019 was placed in the Jatiya Sangsad
with an aim to create a scope of expanding higher education, research, modern
knowledge practice on the aviation.
Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni placed the bill in the Jatiya Sangsad which
was unanimously passed by voice votes to send it to the parliamentary
standing committee with Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair.
Placing the bill, the minister said the proposed bill will help to
establish the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Aviation and Aerospace
University in the country which would create an opportunity for the people to
receive higher education, research and modern education practice on Aviation
at the national, regional and international level.
The minister urged the parliament to send the proposed bill to the
parliamentary standing commit for providing report within a day.
