Govt plans to set up BKSP training center in each division : Russel
SANGSAD BHABAN, Feb 19, 2019 (BSS) – State Minister for Youth and Sports M
Zahid Ahsan Russel today said the government has a plan to set up a regional
training center of the Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protistan (BKSP) at each
division across the country.
The State Minister said this while responding to a starred question placed by
treasury bench lawmaker M Ayen Uddin of Rajshahi-3 in the House with Speaker
Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair.
Besides, the state minister said the construction of a principal regional
training center of the BKSP of the Chattogram division is progressing at Ramu
in Cox’s Bazar district while the construction work of another BKSP’s regional
training center in Rajshahi is also underway.
At present, there are five BKSP centers across the country—the centers are
BKSP’s head office at Jirani in Savar in Dhaka, BKSP regional training
center at Dinajpur in Rangpur division, BKSP regional training center in
Chattogram, BKSP training center in Sylhet and BKSP training center in
Barisal.
