Govt to provide allowance to all disable people : Minister
SANGSAD BHABAN, Feb 17, 2019 (BSS) – Social Welfare Minister Nuruzzaman Ahmed
today said the government has a plan to give allowance to all the disable
people across the country.
The minister said this while replying to a starred question placed by
opposition lawmaker M Moshiur Rahman Ranga of Rangpur-1 in the House with
Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair.
The country has identified nearly 16 lakh 30 thousand disable people and the
programme to recognise the disable people is going on, he said.
Of them, 10 lakhs are getting insolvent disable allowance and other 90,000
disable are getting education stipend.
