Reza directs CDA to gear up projects to improve services

CHATTOGRAM, Feb 16, 2019 (BSS) – Housing and Public Works’ Minister SM
Rezaul Karim today directed the officials of Chattogram Development Authority
to gear up project work for eliminating public suffering.

“If you face any adverse situation or obstruction regarding the ongoing
project, inform the ministry and the ministry will cordially help you,” the
minister said, while exchanging views with officials of CDA, at CDA chairman
conference room.

The housing minister said his ministry will not hear any bear with any
excuse regarding the ongoing development projects of CDA which is creating
suffering for the people.

“After completing the ongoing development projects taken by CDA in
Chattogram, the scenario of port city will change rapidly and many tourists
will come here to see it,” the minister said.

Appreciating the ongoing CDA development work, Rezaul Karim

said “CDA will be turned into a people-friendly organization through
improving the quality of services”.

“We must eliminate the unwarranted delay service seekers face in availing
of its services”, he said.

He also called upon CDA officials to raise their sense of responsibility
and play a more dynamic role in performing their duties for advancing the
country.

CDA Chairman Abdus Salam presided over the function while secretary of the
housing and public works’ ministry Mohammad Shahidullah Khondhoker, CDA board
members, high officials of CDA among others attended the views’ exchange
meeting.
