Hefajat-e-Islam Ameer Shafi joins Akheri Munajat
GAZIPUR, Feb 16, 2019 (BSS) – Hefajat-e-Islam Ameer Allama Shah Ahmed Shafi today participated in the Akheri Munajat (final prayers) of followers of Maulana Zubair Hassan of the 54th Biswa Ijtema on the bank of the Turag River at Tongi, on the outskirts of the capital.
Meanwhile, he along with his son Hefajat-e-Islam central Publicity Secretary Maulana Anas Madani came to Gazipur for attending the Ijtema’s Jumma prayers yesterday while mayor of Gazipur City Corporation (GCC) Advocate Jahangir Alam took them to the Ijtema field.
Gazipur Tongi Eastern Model Police Station Officer-in-charge (OC) M Kamal Hossain informed this matter.
The Ijtema of the followers of Maulana Muhammad Saad Al Kandhalvi will begin tomorrow at the same venue and it is scheduled to end with Akheri Munajat on February 18.
