DHAKA, Feb 15, 2019 (BSS) – State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed
Majumder today asked the central bargaining agents (CBA) leaders to work
regularly saying that drawing salary by them without work is not acceptable.

“Like other employees and workers, the CBA leaders will have to work
regularly … they are government employees and government pay their
salaries,” he said.

Kamal added: “CBA leaders get salaries but do not work – it is not
acceptable … everyone has to work.”

The state minister was addressing a public meeting organized by Kafrul
Thana Sramik League at Mirpur-14 in the city.

Kafrul Thana Sramik League President Tajul Islam Taju chaired the meeting.

Putting emphasis on meeting the country’s fertilizer demand locally, Kamal
said the government is working to increase efficiency in the production of
fertilizers.

“Initiatives have been taken to construct a world-class new fertilizer
factory in Ghorashal,” he said.

The state minister said the government has given highest priority to the
industrial sector for the development of the country. “Potential industries
will be developed throughout the country,” he said.

Kamal said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has taken Bangladesh to a dignified
position in the world.

“The people have expressed full support and confidence in her development
plan announced in the election manifesto to transform Bangladesh into a
developed country,” he said.
