ARREST – RECOVERY
Arms peddler held with arms, ammo in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Feb 15, 2019 (BSS) – An alleged arms peddler was held
with a pistol, one shooter gun, a magazine and seven rounds of bullet from
Baliadighi village under Shibganj upazila in Chapainawabganj district in the
early hours of today.
The arrested was identified as Md. Senaul Islam Member, 44, of
Baliadighi under Shibganj upazila of the district.
Acting on a tip-off, an operation team of RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj
camp raided the aforesaid area at around 4.45 am and arrested Senaul Islam
with the arms and ammunition.
Later the arrested person was handed over to the police of Shibganj
thana with a case.
