DHAKA, Feb 14, 2019 (BSS) – An eleven-member team of “Nature Plus”, an environmental organization of South Korea, today called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman at the latter’s office.
The team members were Jung Jaehee, Lee Sangheon, AHN Ahyoung, Kim Sehee, Kim Yujin, Kang Soojung, Jo Younghun, Lee Daryeong, Kang Giyeon, Seo Mikyung and Kim Yeeun.
During the meeting, they discussed various environmental issues including the global warming and climate change.
The Korean team members expressed willingness to work together with DU students for making the university campus neat and clean.
The vice-chancellor thanked the guests for their visit to the DU and keen interest in its environmental activities.
Earlier, the Korean team met the Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) of DU Professor Dr. Muhammad Samad.
