European stock markets climb at open
LONDON, Feb 14, 2019 (BSS/AFP) – Europe’s main stock markets rose solidly
at the start of trading on Thursday, with London’s benchmark FTSE 100 index
up 0.4 percent to 7,216.26 points.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt’s DAX 30 index won 0.8 percent to 11,257.80
points and the Paris CAC 40 advanced 0.9 percent to 5,117.79.
