DHAKA, Feb 12, 2019 (BSS) – The Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) under the Shipping Ministry has launched hotline numbers for people to lodge all sorts of passenger harassment of Dhaka river ports and river possession-pollution related complaints.
Anyone can get assistance by dialing up those numbers to lodge complaint against coolie, staying on the river port to help passengers, said a press release today.
The 24-hour hotline numbers are 01304-004003 and 01304-004006 which will remain open for all where they can also complain any specific allegation regarding water pollution and grabbing in Buriganga and Turag rivers, it also said.
