DHAKA, Feb 11, 2019 (BSS) – Dr Santo Banerjee, a scientist of Universiti
Putra Malaysia (UPM), called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor
Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman today at the latter’s office of the university.
Prof Dr Md Kamrul Hassan, Associate Prof Golam Dastegir Al-Quaderi and
Assistant Prof Dr Syed Hasibul Hassan Chowdhury of the Department of Physics
of DU were present on the occasion.
During the meeting, they discussed various issues including the
possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative academic and research
programmes by the University of Dhaka and the Universiti Putra Malaysia
(UPM).
The UPM Scientist Santo Banerjee is now on a visit to Bangladesh for
attending the national conference on physics organised by DU Physics
Department.
