DHAKA, Feb 11, 2019 (BSS) – Police are on hot pursuit to capture two
housemaids of former principal of Eden Mohila College, Mahfuza Chowdhury
Parvin, soon after filing a murder case against them for their suspected
involvement in the killing.
“Husband of the victim and also former Bangladesh Chhatra League leader
Ismat Kadir Gama filed the case accusing their two housemaids Reshma and
Swapna with New Market Police Station,” said deputy commissioner (DC) of
police of Ramna division Maruf Hossain Sarder.
Both the accused went into hiding since the killing of Mahfuza Chowdhury
Parvin at their own flat at Sukanya Tower in Elephant Road on Sunday night,
he said.
Name of another housemaid Runu was not included in the case despite she
is also considered as suspects in the murder.
“Drives are being carried out to capture the housemaids Reshma and
Swapna,” he also said, adding that they have yet been confirmed which things
were looted from the house.
