Sheikh Russel, Saif SC play 1-1 draw in BPL Football
DHAKA, Feb 8, 2019 (BSS)- Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra lost valuable points
after playing to a 1-1 goal draw with newly promoted Saif Sporting Club (SC)
in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football held on Friday at Rafiq Uddin
Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh.
In the day’s match, both the teams launched several attacks in the first
half but failed to break the deadlocks that triggered the first half ended in
a tame goalless draw.
After the resumption, however, Sheikh Russel’s foreign recruit Azizov
finally broke the deadlock scoring the first goal for Russel in the 79th
minute.
Through all were going fine for Russel till the 83 minute as it was seemed
that the match was going to end 1-0 but a suicidal goal scored by Sheikh
Russel’s Yaseen in the 84th minute change all the scenario of the match and
Sheikh Russel had to leave the ground after split point with Saif SC.
