All freedom fighters graves to be preserved: Mozammel
SANGSAD BHABAN, Feb 7, 2019 (BSS) – Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM
Mozammel Haque today said all graves of the freedom fighters will be
preserved.
“The government has already approved a project to preserve the graves of
all freedom fighters,” the minister said while replying a questionof
treasury bench member Mohammad Israfil Alam during the question and answer
session in the House with Deputy Speaker Fazle Rabbi Miah in the chair.
The minister said a project title “Preservation and Development (First
Phase) of Shaheed (martyrs) and Beer Muktijouddha (valiant freedom
fighters)” got ECNEC’s nod on October 30 last year.
He added that under this project some 20 thousand graves of freedom
fighters in the first phase and subsequently all graves will be preserved.
