Angelina Jolie pays tribute to Bangabandhu
DHAKA, Dec 6, 2018 (BSS) – Hollywood superstar and special envoy of UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) Angelina Jolie today paid rich tribute to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing wreaths at his portrait in front of Bangabandhu Memorial at Dhanmondi-32 here.
The megastar visited the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum in the city to pay homage to Bangabandhu at around 4pm.
She also signed the visitor’s book there.
Radwan Mujib Siddiq, grandson of Bangabandhu, accompanied the actress when she arrived and visited the memorial museum premises.
The special envoy earlier spent two days in Cox’s Bazar to see the plights of over a million of minority Muslim Rohingyas who fled their home to evade a brutal military crackdown.
