RCCI leaders for building youths as skilled manpower

RANGPUR, Jan 29, 2018 (BSS) – Leaders of Rangpur Chamber of Commerce and
Industry (RCCI) have stressed the need for building youths as skilled human
resources aiming to accelerate the country’s development.

The productivity, self-confidence and dynamism of youths, almost half of
the country’s population, should be utilised involving them in national
development to build a developed country, they told a meeting here.

The views-exchange meeting was organised by RCCI at its board room on
Sunday afternoon with support from RDRS Bangladesh and the Empower Youth for
Work (EYW) Project, a press release said today.

Chaired by RCCI president Mostafa Sohrab Chowdhury Titu, the meeting was
addressed, among others, by RCCI senior vice-president Mostoba Hossain Ripan,
its directors Habibur Rahman Raja and Reaz Shahid Shovan, promotion officer
of Rangpur BSCIC Office Md Ehsanul Haque, representative of PRAN Group Yunus
Ali and proprietor of Rangpur Crafts Swapna Rani Sen.

The speakers said all the youths should be provided with necessary training
on various trades to make them skilled workforce and work opportunities must
be created for them as per their productive capabilities.

Mostoba Hossain Ripan said if all the male and female youths are turned into
skilled human resources, the pathway of development will be more dynamic,
which will help attain sustainable development goals (SDGs).
