Mild to moderate cold wave sweeps over parts of country
DHAKA, Jan 29, 2018 (BSS) – Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over
Rangpur, Rajshahi and Mymensingh divisions and the regions of Sandwip,
Sitakunda, Rangamati, Comilla, Srimangal, Satkhira, Jessore, Kushtia,
Faridpur, Barisal and Bhola.
The present weather condition is likely to continue for some more days,
said a met office press release here today.
Light to moderate fog may occur at some places over the country from
midnight to tomorrow morning while weather may remain dry over the country,
the release added.
Night temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may remain nearly
unchanged over the country.
Minimum temperature of the country was recorded today 6.3 degrees celsius
at Tetulia in Rangpur division and maximum temperature 27.9 degrees Celsius
at Teknaf in Chittagong division yesterday.
The sun sets at 5.42 pm today and rises at 6.41 am tomorrow in Dhaka.
