5-day REHAB fair begins Wednesday
DHAKA, Feb 4, 2019 (BSS) – A 5-day fair of the Real Estate and Housing
Association of Bangladesh (REHAB) will begin at the Bangabandhu International
Conference Centre in the city on Wednesday.
“There will be a total of 202 stalls in the fair. About 20 building
materials and 14 moneylender organisations will take part in fair,” a press
release quoted REHAB first Vice-President Liaquat Ali Bhuiyan as he told
journalists today at a press conference at the Jatiya Press Club here.
Housing and Public Works Minister SM Rezaul Karim will formally inaugurate
the fair that will continue till February 10, Liaquat said.
On the inaugural day, the visitors and buyers will be able to enter the
fair from 2 pm while it will remain open from 10 am to 9 pm every day, he
added.
Liaquat said the REHAB has been organising the fair for 18 years
considering the customers facilities. It will help the buyers to find out
flats and plots of their own choice, he added.
There will arrangement for two types of ticket for entering the
fairground– a single entry ticket will cost Tk 50 and multiple entries (up
to five times) Tk 100.
The money that will realized by selling tickets will be spent for helping
the destitute while the visitors will be given different prizes, including
private cars, motorcycles, refrigerators and televisions, through raffle draw
of the tickets.
