Zila Parishad’s Grabbed land recovered in Gaibandha
GAIBANDHA, JAN 29, 2018 (BSS) – Zila Parishad (ZP) recovered its some
grabbed land on the DB Road and the College Road of the town here on Sunday.
ZP chairman Ataur Rahman Sarker Ata said as per an order of the High Court,
the grabbed land has been recovered and taken it under their possession.
The High Court recently passed an order recovering ZP’s grabbed land and
evicting the illegal business establishments from the land through local
administration.
The court gave the direction after being filed a petition against ZP’s
recent decision to construct multistoried building on its land.
Sarker said an operation led by a magistrate was carried out and grabbed
land has been recovered in line with the high court directives.
