Children were playing and learning at the same time at a platform named ‘Shishu Chhattar’, which has been dedicated to them.

Kids, accompanied by their respective parents, were cheerful playing with the posters displaying pictures of healthy food items like vegetables and fruits along with Bengali alphabets and getting cards as gifts.

The kids were delighted to shake their hands with their favourite Sisimpur’s character Halum, Ikri and Tuktuki.

Children’s much awaited Shishu Prohor prolongs for four hours -11:00am to 3:00pm– for them on every Friday and Saturday.

On the second day, 80 new books marked the book fair. A discussion on “Victory: language movement to liberation war” was held at the main platform of the book fair. Language movement veteran Ahmed Rafiq presided over the function.
