Two killed in train accidents in city
DHAKA, Feb 01, 2019 (BSS) – Two persons, including a woman, were killed in separate train accidents in the capital today.
One of the deceased was identified as Nilkanti Rao, 23, a resident of Dakshinkhan area while the identity of a woman victim could not be known immediately.
The bodies were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
Railway police said Nilkanti Rao was knocked down by a train when he was crossing rail line in Dakshinkhan area. He died on the spot.
Another train hit an unidentified woman at a rail crossing adjacent to Kuril Biswa Road. The burga-clad woman aged about 29 died on the spot.
Two cases were filed in these connections.
