Ctg board completes preparations to hold SSC exams from Feb 2

CHATTOGRAM, Jan 31, 2019 (BSS)- Chattogram Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (CEB) has completed all preparations to hold the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations in free, fair and peaceful manner from February 2.

One lakh 49 thousand 867 examinees will appear at the SSC examinations under the board this year.

CEB officials said they have completed all preparations to hold the examination in a peaceful atmosphere.

As many as 33,539 students from science group, 51,057 from humanities group and 65,271 students from business administration group, totaling 1, 49,867 are scheduled to sit for their examinations.

The students will participate in the examinations from 1,040 high schools through 190 centers.

This was disclosed at meeting with center secretaries held at CEB conference room today.

A total of 70 vigilance teams consisting of teachers and magistrates have been formed to check any sort of unfair means or irregularities. Examinations of all subjects, except Bangla second paper, English first and second paper, will be held under creative question paper from this year, Board sources said.

Mohammad Mahbub Hasan, controller of CEB told BSS that the authority has completed all preparations to hold the examination in a fair atmosphere and determined to consider all possible options in the preparation process to keep the trend of peaceful examination intact.
