DHAKA, Jan 31, 2019 (BSS) – A mild cold wave is sweeping over Tangail,
Gopalganj, Sitakunda, Feni, Rangamati, Moulvibazar, Dinajpur, Panchagarh,
Nilphamari, Kurigram, Satkhira, Jashore, Chuadanga and Barihsal districts.
The condition of the weather with partly cloudy sky may continue for more a
few days, said a met office release today.
Moreover, light to moderate fog may occur at some places over the country
during late night to tomorrow morning while weather may remain dry during the
duration, the release added.
Night and day temperature may rise slightly during the time.
The highest temperature in the country yesterday was recorded 27.0 degrees
Celsius at Sitakunda in Chattogram while today’s minimum temperature was 8.1
degrees Celsius at Srimangal and Tetulia in Sylhet and Rangpur respectively.
The sun sets at 5:44 pm today and rises at 6:40 am tomorrow in the capital.
