CHITTAGONG, Jan 26, 2018 (BSS)- A total of 1,35,221 examinees will appear at the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations under Chittagong Education Board (CEB) this year.
The examinations will begin on February 1 next.
Mohammad Touabir Alam, acting controller of CEB, told BSS that they have completed all preparations to hold the examinations in a peaceful atmosphere.
As many as 30,755 students from science group, 42,687 from humanities group and 61,779 students from business administration group are scheduled to sit for the examinations.
The students will participate in the examinations from 1,023 high schools through 179 centers.
A total of 60 vigilance teams consisting of teachers and magistrates have been formed to check any sort of unfair means or irregularities.
Examinations of all subjects, except Bangla second paper, English first and second paper, will be held under creative question paper from this year, the board sources also said.
