Teenage girl’s body recovered in Ctg
CHITTAGONG, Jan 22, 2018 (BSS)- A teenage girl was found dead in a
building near city’s Akbar Shah thana on Sunday night.
The deceased was identified as a local Madrasa student Meem Akter, 12,
daughter of Mohammad Jamal Uddin, residents of Sea World area of Foy’s Lake
and hailed from Bhola district.
Shafiul Azam Munshi, Assistant Sub Inspector of Akbar Shah thana said on
information, a team of Akbarsha thana police recovered the body of Meem,
beside the Ayesha Mamtaj Mahal of Bishow Colony, one kilometre away from her
residence around 10 pm last night.
Police said there were several injury marks on Meem’s face, neck and
other body parts.
Investigation is on to find out whether it was a murder, the SI added.
